"Russian warship...done!": Ukrposhta issued a new stamp after the flooding of "Moscow"
In continuation of the issue of stamps with the already legendary phrase of the Ukrainian border guards "Russian warship go ...!" Ukrposhta issued a second series - but without the ship, which was sunk by the Ukrainian military.
The new issue is dedicated to 40 days of the sinking of the ship, and is a continuation of the previous issue.
"It all started with the phrase "Russian warship, go ...!", And ended up with the fact that he really left. Therefore, the next sheet will be a logical name - "Russian warship ...done!"
The new issue includes stamps with the feat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which sank the Russian cruiser Moskva on April 14, and coupons on which the image of the first stamp with the ship is reproduced. ⠀
The total circulation is 5 million copies with domestic and international denominations.
Reminder:
Postage stamp "Russian warship, go...!" was put into circulation on 12 April. Its name is the words of the Ukrainian border guard of the Serpent Island in response to the Russian ship, which have become a symbol of resistance to the military aggression of the Russian Federation.
The very next day, this same cruiser "Moskva", which was going to capture Odessa, was hit by anti-ship missiles "Neptune" by the Ukrainian military, and subsequently it drowned. Thus, the issue of the stamp "Russian warship, go ...!" became prophetic.
